About Me

Nice to meet you! I’m Brenda (she/her)

I’m currently in my last year in the User Experience Design Masters program at the University of Toronto.

As an emerging user experience design professional, I am committed to designing with a research-driven approach that balances user and stakeholder needs.

Coming from a non-traditional biology background, my strengths lie in conducting research and translating scientific insights into innovative and user-centric design solutions.

Background

With an undergraduate background in biology, my passion has always been to help people. However, when I discovered user experience design, I realized the vital role that experiences play in overall well-being. This realization fueled my desires to be in a field where I can craft meaningful experiences that have a positive impact on people’s everyday lives.

Hobbies - Gardening!

During the past two summers, I have been growing a small vegetable garden on my balcony. During the winters, I daydream about future vegetable gardens.

Although I haven’t grown enough to sustain myself, watching the plants grow brings me joy. A touch of green in the city never fails to uplift spirits!
